Eezad Shanaas ( (ايزدشناس) & Eezad Nishaan (ايزدنشان)

In the above mentioned book, it is mentioned that these two names also belong to the Imam in view of the Majus and Shaykh Bahai has stated in Kashkol that Persians called him Eezad Shanaas (Knower of God) and Eezad Nishaan (A sign of God)

Ooqeezmoo

The accomplished scholar, Mirza Muhammad Nishapuri has written in his book of Zakheeratul Albaab, popularly known as Dawaaerul Oloom that: His name in Taurat in the language, which has become extinct is  Ooqeezmoo

Ahmad (احمد)

Shaykh Saduq has narrated in Kamaaluddin that it is narrated from Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) that he said: A man from my descendants would appear in the last period of time.

Till he said: He would have two names, one confidential and the other, popular. His secret name is Ahmad… and so on.

In Ghaibat of Shaykh Toosi, it is narrated from Huzaifah that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) mention the Mahdi. He said: They will pay allegiance to him at Rukn and Maqam. His name is Ahmad, Abdullah and Mahdi. Thus, these names are for him.

It is mentioned in Taareekh Ibne Khashshaab and other books that the Imam is having two names: apparently it denotes the two names of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.).

We welcome you to the blog - Titles of Imam Mahdi (a.s.). This is the second blog from Miracles of Massoomee  (a.s.)' blog.

Holy Prophet, Mohammad-e-Mustafa (s.a.w.a.) said: One who dies without recognizing the Imam of his time, dies the death of ignorance.

This blog is a step in fulfilling the above tradition. This is a step to increase our knowledge and recognition of Imam Mahdi (a.s.).

This blog is a gift to grandmother of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) - Hazrat Fatema Zahra (s.a.) who is awaiting the reappearance of her last son. Her son, Mahdi who will avenge the blood of Imam Husain (a.s.) and his children. He will punish those who martyred Janabe Mohsin ibne Ali (a.s.). He will fill the earth with peace and justice. He will establish the religion of true Tawheed i.e. the religion of Ghadeer. Inshallah.

Aim of the blog is to bring all the titles, Kunniyat and names of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) at one place. The material is taken from the book Najmus Saaqib of Marhum Mirza Husain Noori (r.a.) (Janabe Muhaddis Noori (r.a.).

No doubt the aforesaid book is available but this blog will help in ready referencing and as a treasure for future generation.
